Only Scanning is good in the product nothing else. Overall, this product is good only for offices, where they use printer in Daily basis but no limited basis. U will get connectivity problem and OS would offen display connection disputes and msgs like "USB not recognized".ĩ) Scanning quality is best but very slow scanning. they just say "Get out".Ĩ) When the Printer gets old, The USB connectivity get worst. Since refilling is not advisable, u have to go on for buying new cartridges every time!ħ) Service of the product is not that good(With HP). If u keep a bunch of papers on the tray, while printing, sometimes 2 paper get inside and gets jammed.Ħ) The Ink Cartridge is very costly. U will have to put only one paper on the loading bay and put only clean and unfolded papers to prevent this jamming. (works in Vista without CD Installation for Scanning only).ġ) 3 in 1 one facility - Printing(Both B/W and color), Xerox and Scanning.ġ) The printer will go dead and you will have to throw way into dust bin if the Ink jet jams.Ĥ) Printer is very bulky and not compact.ĥ) Paper gets jammed many time while printing. We took it to the HP Service center and they returned back saying "Sorry, we cant do anything, If we could do, it would cost almost the price of a new printer!".įrom then onward(for almost 4 yrs now), we r not able to use the Print and xerox option BUT only use the scan option as does't require printing. Yes, The Inkjet got Clogged and printer got jammed. We did't knew this and after 15 months we kept the print unused for 1.5 months. OR u could remove the cartridge from the printer and keep it in fridge and use when u want to take print out. Otherwise the Cartridge might get clogged and printer will go out dead unusable ever. In actual(as per service center manual), these types of Ink jet printers should be used regularly, atleast 1 print per day in essential. And the printer's printing was working fine for almost first 15 months. The Printer works with 2 ink jets - one color and one black. Well the name actually pulled me in to buy it but I never was told or knew wat the problem I am going to face! I bought the HP PSC 1410 version of 1210 3in1 series for a cost of Rs.4800.īought this because it had three functions in one unit - Printer, Xerox and Scan.
